Study Subject(s): The University offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees that are exclusively held in English.

Awards: 53 Padua International Excellence Scholarships and 50 scholarships awarded by University of Padua departments total in number of awards.

Target audience: exceptionally gifted aspiring foreign students from throughout the globe

Award value/duration: The €8,000 subsistence grant and tuition fee remission are included in the award. The sole annual payment required of benefit students is an entry fee equal to the regional tax plus marca da bollo. 

Qualifications

You have to fulfill the following criteria in order to be qualified:

  • Do not reside in Italy
  • Hold a non-Italian upper secondary school certificate (for applicants seeking bachelor’s or single cycle degrees) or a non-Italian bachelor’s degree (for applicants seeking master’s degrees) allowing admission to the Italian University system
  • Do not possess Italian citizenship (apart from dual citizenship including Italian)
  • Apply for one or more English-taught degree programs of the University of Padua in accordance with the procedures and within the deadlines set. Up to three degree programs are available for application.

Italy’s PISA University DSU International Scholarships

The Agenzia Regionale Diritto allo Studio Universitario, which is DSU’s agency for the University Study Right of the Tuscany Regional Council (Regione Toscana), is offering scholarships to students.

A grant from DSU consists of complimentary accommodation, free meals at the University dining halls, contribution to pay extra expenditures (sporting activities, books, etc.) exemption from University tuition rates.

Eligibility 

Students who are studying or intend to enroll in a degree program at the University of Pisa, provided they do not hold a diploma at the same educational level.

Application and necessary files

Only online applications via Sportello Studente are accepted by the call’s deadline, which is typically announced in July of each year. Even in the event that the student is not yet enrolled, the application may still be filed. The masters scholarship in Italy is only good for one academic year. As a result, every academic year, students must submit the application again.

Overseas: In order to utilize the DSU’s services (such as scholarships, services scholarships, grants for disabled students, extraordinary contributions, subsidized canteen prices, etc.), international students (with income earned abroad) must apply online, print the receipt from their personal area, and mail it according to the directions provided by the admission call. They must also attach a document attesting to the family’s financial situation and a copy of a legitimate identity document. 

Students from EU: EU students must complete a certain declaration, which may be downloaded at the conclusion of the online application process.

International students from Non-EU: Students from poor nations outside the EU must attest that they do not come from a household with a high social standing or money. The following establishments must release this certificate 

  • Italian diplomatic representations in the home country
  • Diplomatic representative organization (Embassy or Consulate) of the nation of origin in Italy.

Other Students Not in the EU:The documents that students provide must be translated into Italian and certified either by the home country’s capable Italian diplomatic agents or in accordance with international legalization guidelines relating to the family status, earnings, property, and moveable assets.

International and Bocconi Merit Awards

It is the one of the best masters scholarship in Italy. For the 2022–2023 academic year, first-year undergraduate and graduate candidates will be eligible for Merit Awards and Bocconi International Awards, contingent upon their academic performance.

Qualifications

Based on the admissions application submitted to Bocconi University, outstanding international applicants who are accepted into the first year of a bachelor’s or master’s program at Bocconi and whose academic profile is deemed to be among the top applicants will be considered for a Bocconi Merit and International Awards.

Application guidelines

You must apply to a Bocconi University graduate program in order to be eligible for the scholarship. No further scholarship application is needed. Apart from the academic record, the whole file submitted to the Admissions office will be assessed. 

Deadline 

There are many application rounds from January to May 2023, each with a different deadline. Graduate applicants must submit their applications by May 25, 2023, however it is encouraged that they do so as soon as possible.
