Eligibility Criteria For The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation

1. Students must be the child or step-child of any of the following:

  •    An active duty, Reserve, or veteran U.S. Marine.
  •    A Marine who lost their life while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
  •   An active duty, Reserve, or veteran U.S. Navy Corpsman, Navy Chaplain, or Religious Program Specialist who served with or was attached to a U.S. Marine Corps unit, or who lost their life while serving with such a unit.

2. Students must maintain a GPA of at least 2.00 without weighting.

3. Students must prove financial need by demonstrating that their family’s adjusted gross income for the 2022 tax year was $117,000 or less.

4. Students must attend or plan to attend a school that is accredited and eligible for federal funding.

5. Students must complete and apply along with all required documents before the deadline.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Reward 

Students will receive approx $40,000 from the Marine Corps Scholarship For four years of education and $2,500- $10,000 for every year. These rewards will be received by those whose family member was attached to a Marine unit and were wounded in action during any war or conflict.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Deadline

The undergraduate application period is from January 1 to March 1 annually. However, for career training programs lasting less than 12 months, the deadline for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) application is rolling, meaning it accepts applications throughout the year without a specific deadline.
